PASMA Standard Tower Course

boss_laddaspan_1The Work at Height Regulations 2005 require that any one using a mobile access tower should be competent. We are an approved Pasma Training Centre, and can provide nationwide training to ensure your operators are competent to assemble, dismantle and alter Mobile Access Tower.
 The PASMA Standard Operator's Course is designed to instruct up to a maximum of 12 delegates at a time, and is aimed at anyone in your organisation who assemble, alter, dismantle, move, inspect and most importantly use Alloy or Fibreglass Mobile Access Towers in the work place. This not only includes construction sites but all work places, such as Schools, Offices and Factories both internally and externally. This pasma_1course is available as an open course at our Training Centre in Tonbridge or On-Site (subject to suitable conditions).

'The Ladder Association' Ladder and Step Ladder Course

ladder-2Kentec, in association with the Ladder Association (formally the BLMA) now offer a nationally recognised training scheme for users, supervisors and managers wanting to equip themselves tblawith the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to use ladders and step ladders legally and safely.

Under the regulations every person in the chain leading up to, and including, the final user, has a duty of care to both themselves and others to know and understand the practical implications of working safely at height.

Demonstration of competence is a key requirement of the new regulations and successful completion of the Ladder Association training course provides proof of such competence.

Abrasive Wheel Course

abrasive wheels1This course is suitable for all operators, managers and supervisors who, as part of their working duties select, mount, specify or use abrasive wheels as defined in 'The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998'. The aim of the course is to enable delegates to work safely, to provide an understanding of current legislation and promote awareness of the dangers and hazards of abrasive wheels. To offer practical steps to reduce workplace accidents and encourage workers to adopt a culture that results in a safer workplace.
