Course
This course includes our Safety Harness - Level 1 (Basic) as each delegates attending this course must be able to carry out a pre-use inspection of a full body harness/lanyard, and to correctly fit/adjust it. Therefore, each delegate will be aware of the difference between Work Positioning, Fall Arrest and Fall Restraint, and the common hazards associated with the use of Personal Fall Protection Equipment and Working at Height in general. In addition, this course is designed to provide each delegate with the knowledge, understanding and ability to correctly and formally inspect safety harness and associated fall protection equipment in line with current, law, regulations, standards and approved best practice.
Course objectives
To provide each delegate a good basic understanding of working with safety harnesses, their pre-use inspection, correct wearing and associated accessories, and the required competency to safetly and correctly carry out the statutory inspections to general items of fall protection equipment and accurately record the findings.

All those, beit individuals or within an organisation involved in the formal statutory inspection of fall prevention/protection equipment for working at height.

Certification:
This course is accredited by Kentec Training, and each candidate who successfully completes the course will recieve a Kentec Training Photo ID Card and Certificate.
