1/2 Day Abrasive Wheels Safety Awareness Course
As training providers, we undertake many abrasive wheel / cut off saw courses for a vast range of clients, this generally takes place at our training centre in Tonbridge or the clients premises at a time to suit them.
Who should attend?
This course is suitable for all operators, managers and supervisors who, as part of their working duties select, mount, specify or use abrasive wheels as defined in PUWER Regulations 1998. The aim of the course is to enable delegates to work safely, to provide an understanding of current legislation and promote awareness of the dangers and hazards of abrasive wheels. To offer practical steps to reduce workplace accidents and encourage workers to adopt a culture that results in a safer workplace.
Aims and ObjectivesThe course will enable delegates to ensure that safety issues are managed efficiently, protecting the workforce, other people and the general environment, and will ensure that legal compliance is achieved. Abrasive Wheels are used in many areas and can be highly dangerous if used by untrained personnel.

Course Delivery
This three to four hour course is presented by fully qualified and competent instructors at our training centre or a venue local to delegates with lecture room facilities, the training course has been approved by the CITB Construction Industry Training Board 'For grant purposes only'.
Cost at our Training Centre (Open Course)
£75.00 + vat per delegate
Cost for On-Site Training (Maximum 12 delegates)
£600 + VAT plus travelling expenses etc
Certification
A Certificates of Attendance is awarded to each successful candidate.
