Candidates will gain an understanding of the process of lifting and moving, be able to identify risks and determine the safest method of handling without injury, in line with approved code of practice, methods and regulations.

For anyone in an organisation who is required to handle, lift, push or move any load from office workers, construction workers to production line operators.
Course Objective:
Our Manual Handling Training course include the use of theory, props, tuition and practical lifting techniques to demonstrate to attendees how to lift, carry, move and transport objects safely.
This course covers the following:
- Introduction to manual handling
- Lifting and carrying safely
- Techniques to avoid injury and strain
- Manual handling risk assessment explained

- How to recognise and avoid potential problems

 Half Day Course – typically 2 to 4 hours
