
Course Overview:
The PASMA Work at Height Essentials Course is designed to instruct up to a maximum of 12 delegates, and will cover the essential knowledge and understanding of the current legislation, regulations and approved codes of practice to effectively comply with their duties under the Work At Height.

Suitable for:
Anyone in an organisation, who manages, supervises or is involved with working at height. This not only includes construction sites but all work places, such as schools, offices and factories both internally and externally.
Course Objective:
To enable an individual to effectively comply with their duties under the Work at Height Regulations
The PASMA Work at Height Essentials Course content includes:
- The Competent Person
- Health and safety legislation
- Work at Height Regulations
- Guidance on Working at Height
- Details of Industry Training Bodies

Duration:
Half Day – typically 3 to 4 hours
PPE Required:
This course is theory only and there are no requirements for PPE.
Certification:
Upon successfully passing both the written and practical assessments, each delegate's details will be entered on to the PASMA central database and a Certificate of Competency and a Photo-ID Card will be issued that is valid for 5 years.
