PASMA Standard Tower Course

The PASMA Standard Operator's Course is designed to instruct up to a maximum of 12 delegates, and is aimed at 3t assemblyanyone in your organisation who assemble, alter, dismantle, move, inspect and most importantly use Alloy or Fibreglass Mobile Access Towers. 

Our PASMA Standard Mobile Tower course is priced at £125.00 + vat per person, and is aimed at operators of mobile access towers manufactured in aluminium alloy or fibreglass, approved to BS EN 1004 : 2004 and which carry a current British Standard or other equivalent mark of approval.
 

Aims
The Aim and Objective of our PASMA Standard Course is for each person attending the course to be able to safely, correctly and competently identify, erect, alter, tie in, use, move, inspect and dismantle prefabricated Aluminium and Fibre-Glass Mobile Access Towers in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, current regulations and accepted approved methods, to have an understanding of current relevant legislation and regulations on Mobile Access Towers.

Abilities
All delegates must reasonably literate, have a comprehension of English language and have no physical disabilities that would preclude them from being considered competent in the erection, alteration and dismantling of Mobile Access
assembly instructionTowers.

Please Note: All delegates will be required (In groups of up to 4 persons) to assist in the assembly, alteration and dismantling of a 4.2m Mobile Tower. Any delegate who displays a fear of height that would, in the opinion of the Instructor, make them a danger to themselves or others may be failed on the practical assessment.
 
Course Duration
Full Day, which usually run from 9.00am to 4.30pm with a 30 minute break for lunch, including Training Room Lecture, Video/DVD presentation, written and practical assessment.

  • Written Assessment / Question Paper

PPE / Equipment Requirements
Each delegate should arrive with a Safety Hard Hat, Hi-Vis Vest, Gloves and Safety Footwear. A PASMA Tower Inspection Tag, Tower Inspection Check List, Manufacturer's Instruction Manual and Small Spirit Level will be provided to complete the practical assessment.

Certification
Upon successfully passing both the written and practical assessments, each delegate's details will be entered on to the PASMA central database and a Certificate of Competency and a Photo-ID Card will be issued.
