Our IOSH Working Safely course is a one-day, entry-level
qualification that gives employees a practical understanding of workplace
health and safety. You can take the IOSH working safely course in Kent at
Kentec Training's Tonbridge and Ashford centres. This IOSH-accredited course covers
hazard identification, risk assessment and safe working practices. Delegates
leave with the knowledge and confidence to take personal responsibility for
their own safety and the safety of those around them.
No prior experience or qualifications required. The course
is delivered in plain language and is designed for employees at operative
level, across any industry or sector.
For employers, achieving this internationally recognised
qualification also ensures that they are meeting the UK Government's guidelines
for introductory health and safety training for all employees.
This course consists of a training room lecture and
presentation, and a multiple-choice theory assessment.
If you are
responsible for managing your organisation's health & safety, our IOSH
Managing Safely Course may
be better suited to you.
Any employee, any industry: If you have never had formal
health and safety training, this is your starting point. It covers everything
an operative-level employee needs to understand about hazards, risk and their
personal responsibilities at work.
Operative and site workers: If you work in construction,
manufacturing, logistics, facilities management or any environment where
physical hazards are present, this course gives you practical knowledge and a
nationally recognised qualification.
New starters: Ideal for onboarding programmes. Gives new
employees a recognised qualification from day one and demonstrates that your
organisation takes health and safety seriously.
Employers meeting their legal obligations: Helps demonstrate
that your organisation has provided introductory health and safety training for
all staff, in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
Delegates should:
Have a good understanding of written & spoken English.
If delegates have any problems with English literacy or language comprehension,
