Our NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational
Health and Safety Course is considered one of the UK’s
most popular and respected health and safety qualifications. Offering extensive
study of the core aspects of occupational health and safety management, including
carrying out accurate risk assessments, developing and implementing detailed
action plans, managing and minimising workplace risks, and developing your

This 12-day course also
provides delegates with a comprehensive knowledge of health and safety
legislation and its practical applications to their own workplace environments

Each topic covered
on the course is intended to prepare delegates for the challenges of real-world
safety management through scenario-based learning and practical exercises;

This course consists of several training room lectures,
presentations, an optional revision session, a digitally accessed Open Book
Examination (OBE), an independent Practical Assessment, and a closing
interview.

Delegates should:
- Have a good understanding of written &
spoken English. If delegates have any problems with English literacy or
language comprehension, they must bring them to the attention of their employer.
- Be able to commit and dedicate their spare time
to study outside of the classroom.

Successful delegates will receive a physical NEBOSH
National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety certificate
accredited by the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health
(NEBOSH). There is no expiry date on the certificate – however, we do recommend
that delegates refresh their qualification every 5 years to ensure their
knowledge is kept up to date and relevant.
Certification will only be available once your results have
been released by NEBOSH around 50 working days from the date of the Open Book
Examination (OBE), though this timeline can vary.
The natural progression from the NEBOSH National General
Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Course is the NEBOSH
Level 6 National Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management
Professionals.
