Our UKATA Duty to Manage Asbestos (Overview) Course provides delegates with the knowledge, responsibilities and legislative requirements outlined in the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, Regulation 4, concerning the management of asbestos in non-domestic premises.
This half-day course develops an understanding of the duties of asbestos duty holders, the types of asbestos surveys required, and the practical application of findings in an asbestos management plan.
To be eligible for UKATA Duty to Manage Asbestos (Overview) Course, delegates must provide:
- Evidence of having successfully completed a UKATA Asbestos Awareness Course within the last 6 months. If it is not completed within this timescale, then the delegate will need to undertake a new UKATA Asbestos Awareness Course.
This course is aimed at assistants to duty holders and
appointed persons, building owners, landlords, sub-lessors, managing agents,
and any individuals assisting in the compliance with the Control of Asbestos
Regulations 2012, Regulation 4.
If you have any problems with English literacy or language
comprehension, you must bring them to the attention of your employer as well as
our support team.
