All our instructors are now accredited by the British Abrasives Federation

Abrasive products improperly used have the potential to cause fatal accidents. However, training in the safe and correct way of handling and using abrasives can reduce this hazard from the workplace.

We are pleased to announce that all of our instructors have undergone assessment and have been accredited by the British Abrasives Federation. While our Managing Director, Steve Booker has been with the BAF for many years, we are pleased that we have four more instructors that are now able to clearly demonstrate their knowledge of abrasive wheels and commitment to their own continued professional development.

The BAF is the trade association for manufacturers of abrasive products, providing opportunity for members to gain access to advice, information and safety recommendations and be audited at regular intervals to ensure competency is maintained. One of the prime objectives of the BAF is to promote safety in the design, manufacture and use of abrasives.

The British Abrasives Federation state:

"The BAF Training Accreditation will only be given to those organisations that can demonstrate a high standard of expertise in abrasive safety, whose course content and literature meets the BAF criteria."

If you require any abrasive wheel training, please contact our sales department on 0333 666 0555.
