IPAF

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) is the leading accrediting body and authority for mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs). Over 100,000 people are trained each year to use MEWPs safely. There are a number of different categories available to be trained to either an operator or demonstrator level.

This course is aimed at individuals who will be responsible for using MEWPs in the workplace. The Harness Awareness (HA) and Harness User (HU) modules must be completed by anyone who will personally use a harness in a MEWP. With the Operator Add-On version of the course, the Harness Awareness (HA) module is completed as a self-study eLearning course prior to the Harness User practical module. The Harness User (HU) module MUST be completed as part of a standard IPAF Operator Course.
