Our PASMA Instructor Mentoring (Module 5) programme - referred
to as ‘Module 5 - Mentored Module’ by PASMA – provides structured
guidance, feedback and evaluation to trainee PASMA instructors to ensure they meet
the standards, skills and knowledge required to confidently deliver PASMA courses
to learners as well as achieve their PASMA Instructor qualification.
During this Mentored Module, the trainee instructor will begin
by observing & shadowing their mentor (a lead PASMA Instructor), then
progressing to partial course delivery, culminating on the final day with the
assessment of the delivery of a full PASMA Towers for Users course independently
with no assistance or support, ensuring the trainee instructor can facilitate a
full PASMA course competently and within the course guidelines.
The dates for these mentoring sessions are arranged between
the trainee PASMA instructor and our support team, available on 0333 666 0555.
To be eligible for PASMA Instructor Mentoring (Module 5),
candidates must:
Since the safe use of mobile access towers requires that
instructors consult safety notices and read and thoroughly understand the
manufacturer’s instruction manual, English literacy and language comprehension
are important requirements for any tower user.
Please note that trainee PASMA instructors will be expected
to work at height whilst building a mobile access tower, so please ensure you
are in good health and are fully able to take part in the practical assessment.
