This course is aimed at personnel who are or could be using, supervising or managing the use of nail guns or staple guns in the workplace. There are no prerequisites for this course, however knowledge and experience of using this equipment would be an advantage.
Delegates should be fit and in good health and free from disabilities, whether physical or psychological, that may pose a threat to their own health and safety or the safety of others who might be affected by the operation of equipment.
Delegates are advised to bring their own nail/staple gun, nails and gas cartridges wherever possible.
At the end of the session
delegates must successfully complete both theory and practical assessments. All who successfully complete this course of instruction will receive a Certificate of Training that is valid for three years.

- Selection of tools
- Selection of Cartridges / Fixings
- Gas operated tools
- Pre use checks
- Trouble shooting
- Maintenance and service
- Post Firing procedure
- Recommended PPE
