CITB Health & Safety Awareness Course

The CITB Health & Safety Awareness Course is ideal for those who are about to enter, or have just begun to work, in the construction and civil engineering industries. The course content is suitable for all ability levels and is considered essential health & safety awareness training for all operatives on site.

Delegates should:

• Have a good understanding of written & spoken English. If delegates have any problems with English literacy or language comprehension, they must bring them to the attention of their employer.

• Working at Height
• Excavations & Confined Space
• Environmental Awareness
• Pollution, Waste Materials and Nuisance
• Multiple Choice Examination

Successful delegates will receive a CITB Health & Safety Awareness e-certificate accredited by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), valid for a period of 5 years from the course date.

To remain certified, you will need to retake the full CITB Health & Safety Awareness Course once again. Successful delegates are also able to apply for a CITB Health, Safety & Environment Touch Screen Test. This will enable them to then apply for a CSCS Green Labourers Card.

The natural progression from the CITB Health & Safety Awareness Course is the SSSTS - Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme.
