This IOSH-Approved Working Safely eLearning Course is a self-paced, entry-level qualification that gives employees a practical understanding of workplace health and safety. This course covers hazard identification, risk assessment and safe working practices. Delegates leave with the knowledge and confidence to take personal responsibility for their own safety and the safety of those around them.
We work in partnership with VideoTile, a trusted training provider to deliver online IOSH-Approved Working Safely®. The course is delivered via their online eLearning platform.
No prior experience or qualifications required. The course is delivered in plain language and is designed for employees at operative level, across any industry or sector.
For employers, achieving this internationally recognised qualification also ensures that they are meeting the UK Government's guidelines for introductory health and safety training for all employees.

Any employee, any industry: If you have never had
formal health and safety training, this is your starting point. It covers
everything an operative-level employee needs to understand about hazards, risk
and their personal responsibilities at work.
Operatives and site workers: If you work in
construction, manufacturing, logistics, facilities management or any
environment where physical hazards are present, this course gives you practical
knowledge and a nationally recognised qualification.
New starters: Ideal for onboarding programmes. Gives
new employees a recognised qualification from day one and demonstrates that
your organisation takes health and safety seriously.
Employers meeting their legal obligations: Helps
demonstrate that your organisation has provided introductory health and safety
training for all staff, in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
Delegates should:
- Have a good understanding of
written & spoken English. If delegates have any problems with English
literacy or language comprehension, they must bring them to the attention of
their employer.
- Be able to commit and dedicate
their spare time to study.
Your eLearning course is self-paced and as such has no set
timings. It takes approximately 6 - 8 hours to complete. Here is what to

- Module 2 - Identifying Common Hazards
- Module 3 - Improving Safety Performance
- Assessment Part A – Theory Assessment: Multiple-Choice Examination
- Assessment Part B – Practical Assessment: Risk
Identification
Successful delegates will receive a physical IOSH Working
Safely certificate accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety and
Health (IOSH). There is no expiry date on the certificate – however, IOSH do
recommend that delegates refresh their qualification every 3 years to ensure
their knowledge is kept up to date and relevant.
