Safety Harness - Inspection Course

The Safety Harness - Inspection course is ideal for personnel who are or will be responsible for formally inspecting their own and/or their organisation’s FPE, including safety harnesses, lanyards, connectors, and associated FPE (Fall Protection Equipment) in the workplace.

Delegates should:

• Have a good understanding of written & spoken English. If delegates have any problems with English literacy or language comprehension, they must bring them to the attention of their employer.

The agenda for the Safety Harness - Inspection course includes:

• Legislation, Standards and Guidance regarding FPE
• CE and Manufacturing Marking Systems
• Inspection of Safety Harnesses
• Inspection of Webbing Lanyards
• Inspection of Rope Lanyards
• Inspection of Connectors
• Inspection of Webbing Anchor Slings
• Identifying Common Faults and Damage
• Correct Disposal of FPE

Successful delegates will receive a Safety Harness - Inspection e-certificate accredited by Kentec Training and approved by IPAF, valid for a period of 3 years from the course date.

To remain certified, you will need to retake the full Safety Harness - Inspection course once again.
