Our SMSTS - Site Manager Safety Training Scheme provides training on all relevant legislation and enables the effective management of health and safety within the building, construction and civil engineering industries within the context of the delegate's management role.
This course ensures that delegates fully understand their roles, responsibilities and accountability for health, safety and welfare, and teaches them to recognise when a site is efficient, economical and productive. It highlights the need for risk assessment in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures, and adequate communication to sustain a robust health and safety culture among the workforce.
Please note that the course price includes a same day resit, in the event that delegates do not correctly answer one of the five safety critical questions. This course consists of several training room lectures and presentations, and a multiple-choice examination.

‘Block Release’ courses are attended consecutively over sequential days, allowing you to complete the training quickly in a more intense, focused "block" of training. Whereas ‘Day Release’ courses typically run one or two days per week with ample space in-between each session, making it easier to balance your training alongside work and other commitments. Regardless of your chosen learning method, both formats cover the same content and lead to the same qualification.
