Course Overview

Our NPORS Plant Machinery Marshal Novice Course delivers a minimum of 1 day of instruction depending on the experience of the delegates, up to a maximum of 3 delegates per instructor. This course will provide the delegates with an understanding of their industry, their responsibilities as trained operative and will enable them to safely and efficiently guide plant machinery in both forward and reverse direction, set up exclusion zones for loading/unloading, and carry out end of shift/shut down and parking procedures.

In order to attend this course, you must hold a valid UK Passport or Driving Licence. This will need to be presented to the instructor on the day. This is a requirement of NPORS.

This course consists of a training room lecture, DVD presentation, written assessment, practical training and assessment.

This course is aimed at those who wish to conduct plant machinery marshalling duties and do not have experience with the machinery.
