Steve is the Managing Director, co-founder and senior instructor of Kentec Training. He is a Council member and Director of PASMA and an active member of PASMA and the Ladder Association, currently serving as Chairman of both the Ladder Association Committee and an active member and immediate past chairman of the PASMA Training Committee. Steve is regarded as one of the leading instructors within the access industry being called upon to talk atseminarsand facilitate courses for senior health and safety professionals from local authorities, utilities, IOSH groups and government bodies including the H.S.E.
Steve provides strategic leadership, active management and takes particular responsibility for service and instructor standards. He ensures the company maintains outstanding levels of service, consistency matching the professionalism of our market leading clients and contractors.
Kandy is a co-founder of Kentec Training and has supported Steve from the very first day in building Kentec Training into one of the leading training providers in the UK.
Kandy has always been tenacious in achieving the very highest standard possible in customer service and procedural compliance. She has a broad depth of knowledge and experience in the training industry offering support and guidance to both customers and our team. Kandy’s friendly and supportive nature has ensured Kentec Training’s success and continued customer satisfaction.
Jadie leads our sales and marketing team and has organised and attended several major industry exhibitions such as the Safety & Health Expo and the Kent Construction Focus Group. She is responsible for growing our expanding network of training partnerships and associates, as well as new training opportunities and awarding bodies. She oversees projects for the company, concentrating on growth and efficiency. She also heads up the tendering and procurement for our larger customers.
Jadie is a graduate of Coventry University, her drive and focus on achieving outstanding results makes her a great asset to Kentec and our future. Jadie has successfully completed bothPrince2 Foundation and Practitioner and IOSH Managing Safelyqualifications and has recently achieved herNEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
James has been with Kentec for many years and has become one of our most respected and sought after instructors. He joined us as an experienced IPAF, PASMA, Ladder and Safety Harness Instructor, however, during his time at Kentec, James has been busy gaining additional instructor qualifications with IPAF, the Ladder Association, Tetra, First Aid, cable avoidance tools as well as achieving both his CIEH Professional Instructor and PTLLs teaching qualifications. He has recently achieved his NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and is now working towards his P402 Asbestos Survey and Sampling Course and Fit2Fit Accreditation.
James’s proven skill, support and experience when instructing has resulted in excellent feedback from his course delegates at all levels.
Dave is a Technical Member of IOSH and joined Kentec as an experienced instructor and safety consultant. Dave is a qualified PASMA, Ladder Association, IOSH and First Aid instructor. He started his career in Health & Safety back in 2005 whilst overseas and has successfully completed his NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. Over the past 13 years, he has learned that to make this subject effective and viable, it has to be managed and delivered in the right way.
Dave has recently successfully completed both his BoHS P402 Asbestos Survey and Sampling qualification and become a BiSF Fit2Fit Face Fit Assessors. Delegates enjoy Dave's relaxed, interactive and down to earth style of teaching, allowing for everyone to learn from each other and pass their knowledge and experience onto others.
Sean joins us as another established and experienced IPAF, PASMA, Health and Safety and Ladder Association instructor. Sean has also successfully completed his NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety as well as BOHS P402 Asbestos qualifications and also be delivers a range of IOSH and UKATA training courses.
Sean has over 10 years experience as a professional trainer which can be witnessed in the many positive reviews he receives from his delegates.
Tony has been working as one of our team of instructors since early in 2013. Tony is an IPAF Instructor with over 5 years of experience as an instructor and over 15 years in the access industry especially with MEWP technical and operational maintenance and inspections. Tony is an easy going instructor with an outstanding rapport with his students resulting in positive feedback from all of his courses.
Gill is a long standing PASMA Instructor and Rigger. Gill bring a wealth or experience from the Mobile Access Tower industry and has received outstanding reviews from those attending her courses. Gill offer the full range of PASMA Training courses including the advanced modules.
Gill was recently elected as Vice-Chair of PASMA and we all look forward to her taking the chair in 2017. A member of PASMA’s governing body since 1988 and the Association’s Hire Assembly committee since 2013, Gillian has been a life-long member of the Association, and was one of the first women to successfully complete the PASMA ‘Towers for Users’ course aged just 17.
Mark joined the Kentec Training team of instructors back in 2009 to further strengthen our team of IPAF instructors. Mark has been an instructor for over 10 years and is a fully qualified IPAF Senior Instructor. Mark has a comprehensive experience with the access industry with Mobile Access Towers, MEWPs, MCWPs, Suspended Access and Scaffolding.
Natalie joined us in 2016 and is a well established member of the admin team. She is responsible for the management of key customer accounts and provides support to our Directors during the procurement and tendering process. She also provides vital support to our accounts team.
Megan is a well-established member of the Kentec admin team taking responsibility for the administration of training for clients and support services for our ever increasing instructor base. Megan continues to support our training administration by communicating with our accrediting bodies, looking after customer accounts, instructor support and assisting the team with increasing amount of administration duties we now have to process.
As well as general administrative duties, George looks after the planning and scheduling of our courses, ensuring resources are available before training is booked and that our open course schedule is maintained. George also heads up projects for the company, working closely with Jadie to ensure continued business development and growth.
He has recently achieved the NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.
Antony is a member of our compliance and quality assurance team. His primary role is checking all course documentation for accuracy and work with external auditors to ensure we are maintaining the highest standards of compliance. He plays a key role in our internal quality control system.
Alice is a key member of the administration team, working with our clients to ensure onsite training goes off without a hitch. She ensures the logistics for the instructor are correct and that the clients are prepared and ready for the course. Alice also helps out with our other training centres, processing clients paperwork and certification and then helps with all the general administration tasks that go along side it.
Laura joined Kentec back in March 2017 and quickly fitted right into the team. She is a primary contact for our incoming enquiries and account manager for key customers. She also supports the social media and marketing. She believes that customer service is a strong attribute and she thrives to build a great working relationship with all our clients. Laura has recently achieved her NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
Helena joined Kentec as a sales consultant in January 2016 after graduating from the University of Portsmouth with a degree in Biological Sciences.
Helena has completed her NEBOSH Construction Certificate and uses her knowledge to lead customers through the course booking process, ensuring our clients receive the most effective training possible. She is currently working through her NCRQ Level 6 Diploma in Applied Health and Safety.
Ian has worked with Kentec for some time now in his role as an IPAF and Ladder Association instructor. He provides additional support at our Kent Training Centre and onsite at our customer's sites around Kent and East Sussex.
Lee heads up our PASMA and IPAF training at our London Training Centre. He is a well respected instructor and comes with a vast knowledge of Powered Access after being in the industry for over 15 years progressing from a Driver, Driver Operator to an instructor specialising in in Large Powered Access and Spider Booms as well as PASMA Mobile Tower Training.
Lee has received high praise from both his candidates and colleagues for his teaching style and attitude toward getting the best results, he is a valued addition to the Kentec training team.
Dan is an experienced Work at Height instructor specialising in PASMA Mobile Access Tower training. He supports our PASMA courses at our Kent Training Centre as well as our onsite courses. Many of his delegates have complimented him on his enthusiastic teaching style.
Tony has worked in the construction industry for over 25 years and brings with him a wealth of operational knowledge and experience. In his previous role as Plant Operations Manager at Kilby & Gayford he was also a member of their regional health and safety committee for nearly 10 years. He supports the delivery of our PASMA Courses at our Kent, Essex and London training centers.
Natalie has been with Kentec since October 2012, where she worked in administration and management. After 4 years she took a year out and travelled around Asia and Africa. Natalie just can’t keep away and is back working across various departments, including sales, administration and projects. She is a graduate of Kingston University and has successfully completed IOSH Managing Safely and PRINCE 2 Foundation and Practitioner.
