Kentec Training Support Children in Need 2017

Last week, everyone here at Kentec put on their aprons and baked, organising a cake sale that went on all week for our staff and delegates to fundraise for BBC Children in Need's 2017 Appeal. Money raised will go on to support disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.

We ran a cake sale throughout the week, and our very own Director, Kandy baked a beautiful Pudsey cake to be raffled off at the end of the week. After all the entries were put into a hat, our very own instructor Dave won the cake! We want to thank all our delegates and customers who entered the raffle and bought cakes from us. We are proud to have supported this charity.

Our Managing Director, Steve Booker had this to say, "It is great to see everyone coming together and supporting a charity that helps children and young people reach their potential and keep them from harm. It has been nice having cake in the office, I never knew we had so many talented bakers at Kentec! I would like to thank everyone who has supported this appeal during this week and I encourage everyone to do their bit to help all children across the UK. Dig deep and donate what you can to help this fantastic cause."

BBC Children in Need works throughout the year to ensure that every child in the UK has a safe, happy and secure childhood, and the chance to reach their full potential. It relies on the energy and commitment of thousands of fundraisers and supporters across the UK, who donate their time and money to put on events supporting the Appeal.
