The PASMA Towers for Managers Course is suitable for all supervisors, managers and business owners that control the work of others in the use of mobile access towers. There is no prerequisite for this course, although a working knowledge of health and safety legislation, regulations, standards and mobile access towers is an advantage.
Since the safe use of mobile access towers requires that delegates consult safety notices and read and thoroughly understand the manufacturer’s instruction manual, English literacy and language comprehension are important requirements for any tower user.
Successful delegates will gain an understanding of the legislative framework, setting standards and implementing best practice and the role and responsibilities in managing work at height activities with mobile access towers.
At the end of the theory session, delegates will take a open book written assessment. Delegates will need to achieve 80% to successfully pass the course.
Successful delegates will receive a certificate and Photo ID card which will be valid for a period of 5 years from the date of the course.
The course agenda includes:
- The Competent Person
