New Ladder Instructors on the Horizon!

We are constantly engaging in training and personal growth for all of our team at Kentec, especially our instructor team. We are therefore extremely proud to announce that 3 of our trainee instructors team, Jo Edmondson, Laura White, and Chester Griffith, have today successfully completed their Ladder Association Instructor Course with their instructor, George Lopez.

This series of modular courses has ensured they have the knowledge, understanding and skills to teach individuals on how to safely use and inspect ladders in the workplace, as well as how to approach and teach a wide range of areas related to ladder safety such as ladder selection, ladder maintenance, and general work at height safety, ensuring that our learners receive comprehensive and insightful training.

Ladder-related accidents are unfortunately quite common in the workplace, and often result in serious and life-changing injuries. Therefore, it is crucial to have the necessary knowledge and skills to use ladders safely.

Kentec Training's Group Managing Director and Chair of the Ladder Association Training Committee, Steve Booker, said,"We are delighted to see our instructors making strides towards achieving this qualification. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team to provide the best possible training to our delegates. With this qualification, we can continue to support individuals and businesses in promoting health and safety in the workplace when working with ladders and steps"

With the completion of the Module 4, they are now ready to begin their final module, which includes mentoring and guidance from a Ladder Association Lead Instructor. We are looking forward to seeing each of them in action and join our existing Ladder Association Instructor team!
