Kentec's Certified Female PASMA Instructors

Kentec Training is immensely proud to present our two, newly certified female PASMA instructors, Laura White and Jo Edmondson.

Having both successfully completed their PASMA Instructor training with Geoff Carr, and under the mentorship of Kentec's Managing Director and PASMA Lead instructor, Steve Booker, who is also the Chair of the PASMA Training Committee and the Deputy Chair of PASMA, both instructors have made a huge effort in meeting the high standards and criteria needed to gain this qualification.

Speaking with Laura after her course, she said: “Teaching the course was so much more engaging than I expected. I managed to answer all the questions the trainees asked me because of all the support that I have had from the entire team at Kentec Training, specifically Dave Keen, Kentec's Training Operations Manager, and Steve, our MD. Everyone on the team was eager to see me reach my goals and achieve more than I thought I could do. I look forward to seeing where the future takes me within Kentec Training”

Kentec's MD, Steve Booker says "I am delighted to see more women taking prominent roles in the health & safety training industry and congratulate both Laura and Jo on their outstanding achievement! We have a need to attract more instructors into our industry and Laura and Jo really stepped up and went above and beyond in both their theoretical knowledge and understanding of the mobile towers, the standards and best practice, but also the practical use of the mobile towers which has been challenging at times given that experience can not be rushed. Awesome effort, well done!"

Steve can be seen here presenting both Laura and Jo with their PASMA Instructor Certificates for Mobile Tower, Low Level Access, and Work at Height.
