Kentec Training are supporting the Army Benevolent Fund!

We're extremely excited to announce that Dave Keen, our Training Operations Manager, and Matthew Booker, our Marketing Coordinator, will be participating in the Frontline Walk: The Western Front in October 2024!

The Western Front Walk consists of a 100 kilometre trek along the historic Somme and Passchendaele battlefields from the First World War, starting in Arras, France and finishing in the Belgium city of Ypres.

They have decided to participate in this walk for several reasons, primarily to honour the individuals who fought in WWI and WWII for their sacrifices, bravery, and the freedom that we enjoy today.

Matthew Booker told us "I hold a deep respect for those willing to give so much of themselves while asking for so little in return. I also want to push my own boundaries and make a difference for today’s soldiers, veterans, and families in any way I can."

As many of you may be aware, a large majority of our instructors are ex-armed forces and performed vital roles, such as combat medics, and this walk is in large part in honour of their own courage and selflessness.

Kentec Training has supplied the £150 registration fee for both of our eager trekkers in an effort to show support for their commitment. You can donate to their respective fundraisers here!
