Kentec Training was awarded Best Family Business of 2024 at the Kent Business Awards for Tunbridge Wells, recognising our continued growth, strong family values, and commitment to delivering high quality accredited training across the UK.
The award highlighted the success of our Tonbridge training centre, which delivers over 150 nationally recognised courses across a wide range of topics, alongside our expansion, consistent year on year growth, and investment in both in person and digital training delivery.
Judges also recognised our ability to adapt to industry change, maintain exceptional training standards through experienced instructors, and uphold our core values of trust, integrity, and quality of service, all of which contribute to improving safety, knowledge, and competence across the industries we support.

This was awarded in no small part due to the successful launch of our Ashford Training Centre in August 2025, which quickly became a key part of our delivery network. Judges recognised our rapid expansion, strong operational performance, and ability to maintain consistently high training standards while scaling into a new location, alongside our ongoing investment in modern facilities, experienced instructors, and practical, industry focused training that improves safety, competence, and confidence across the workforce.
Kentec Training was named a finalist for Business of the Year 2025 at the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce Business Awards, standing out among thousands of member businesses across the Chamber network. This recognition reflects our continued commitment as an active member of the Chamber, alongside our growth, investment in modern training facilities, and delivery of over 100 nationally recognised courses across health & safety, plant, forklift, first aid, and working at height training.

Kentec Training was once again recognised as a finalist for Best Construction Supplier at the South East Construction Awards 2026, reinforcing our continued presence as a leading provider of accredited training within the construction industry. This year’s category featured over 70 organisations spanning manufacturers, material suppliers, plant providers, and service companies, making it one of the most competitive shortlists to date.
Despite the breadth of the field, Kentec Training was the only training provider to reach the final stage, highlighting the strength of our delivery across health & safety, plant, forklift, first aid, and working at height training. This recognition reflects our ongoing investment in supporting safer, more competent construction workforces across the South East.
