Kentec are proud to announce the launch of three more courses!

Kentec Training are proud to announce the launch of three new courses to our portfolio this month. With two new IPAF Courses available and a Workplace Safety Course, we hope these courses will enable more people to ensure safety in their workplace.

IPAF Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) Course

This course is a one-day course aimed at providing training to prepare and conduct a pre-delivery inspection on MEWPs. Lifting equipment, including MEWPs must be inspected every six months by a competent person to ensure equipment is maintained and safe to use. PDI’s and in-service inspections are a vital part of any service plan, alongside the LOLER inspections. This course is suitable for those who are in the rental industry, such as service technicians or depot based personnel who have held a valid IPAF Operator Card for a minimum of six months. Safe Use of Nail Guns (Gas & Cartridge Tools) Course

This half day course aims to provide delegates with the knowledge and understanding to carry out the pre-use inspection and the safe and correct use of gas-powered mail/staple guns in the workplace. This course is suitable for those whoa re or cold be using, supervising or managing the use of nail guns in the workplace. There are no prerequisites for this course, however knowledge and experience of using this equipment would be an advantage. Find out more information here

IPAF Insulated Aerial Device (IAD) Course

This course aims at providing training to prepare and safely operate an insulated aerial device (IAD) in the workplace. These machines are common within the electrical utility industry. This course is aimed at those who have held a current 1b category operator licence for at least six months. Find out more information here…
